The BPA-2S is the flagship instrument of the BPA series, providing precise dynamic surface tension measurements over six orders of magnitude in time. Based on the Fainerman measurement protocol, it accurately separates bubble dead time from bubble lifetime to characterize extremely fast adsorption processes.

Measurement principle
The BPA-2S applies the Maximum Bubble Pressure Method together with the Fainerman measurement protocol to separate bubble dead time from bubble lifetime. This enables highly accurate determination of dynamic surface tension from less than one millisecond up to 100 seconds, providing unique insight into adsorption kinetics, surfactant transport and rapidly evolving liquid interfaces.
