The PAT-1P is a highly compact, manual instrument developed for the precise measurement of surface and interfacial tension in liquids. Operating on the analysis of pendent and sessile drops—as well as buoyant and captive bubbles—the device provides reliable data for both liquid characterization and contact angle measurements on solid surfaces.
Developed for simplicity and portability, the instrument requires no external power supply and is powered entirely via USB. Its intuitive manual operation and robust functional range make it an ideal solution for educational purposes and fundamental laboratory research.
