The company was founded in October 1998. SINTERFACE is active particularly in the field of designing new measurement technique and its programming for application in Colloid and Interface Science. Main activity is the development of hardware and software for new instruments for the characterisation of interfacial properties, such as interfacial tensions, dilational and shear rheology, contact angle and wetting phenomena. Among the developments instruments with special functionalities are made on request by companies. Additionally, the company has good links to experts in the background scientific sectors and provides scientific analysis of practical problems and consultation in applying theories and experiments in practice.
The work of SINTERFACE is closely linked to several partners, such as the companies Maschinen- und Metallbau Bernd Ehmke in Berlin and Dr. Fainerman in Donetsk, as well as to a large number of scientific experts in Germany and abroad.
