Foam Analyser FA-1

This is a simplified version of the FA-1S with a single cell design, i.e. the foam is produced and measured in the same cell. This of course has the disadvantage that only foam drainage can be measured. The instrument, however, makes also use of the pressure drop technique and thus yields data suitable for a physical understanding (see above FA-1S).

• measures at a definite reduced pressure DP
  
• works with homogeneous foams columns
  
• measures foam drainage as a function of DP
  
• works fully automatic, including cleaning procedures
  
• data can be correlated to respective types of stabilising foam film
